Jessica Brenner is a writer, independent college counselor, and mother of three. She is the author of College Admission Essays for Dummies, 2nd Edition (Wiley, 2021), and has spent more than fifteen years helping students find their voices through writing — an experience she credits with strengthening her own storytelling.
Jessica received her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from San Francisco State University, as well as B.A. degrees in Comparative Literature from Columbia University and Jewish History from Albert A. List College. She lives in Northern California with her family and far too many books. Pixie Dust and Other Dangerous Things is her debut novel.
