Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Statement
The Journey Institute was founded following the ‘50 in 52 Journey’ to continue the mission of helping to elevate, empower, and engage ordinary people doing extraordinary things. This follows our belief that community is defined as a group of individuals, with unique talents, working together to achieve a common goal.
We believe in building a future that is inclusive of everyone through our work. We are working to create a system where everyone gets exactly what they need to thrive. We are committed to workforce diversity, creating equity across all our systems and processes and fostering and advancing a culture of inclusion.
Our culture of belonging extends to our authors and partners and is about uniting different backgrounds, beliefs, abilities and experiences in an environment where everyone feels valued and works together to achieve common goals.
The Journey Institute DEI Policy is applicable—but not limited—to our practices and policies on recruitment and selection; compensation and benefits; professional development and training; promotions; transfers; social and recreational programs; layoffs; terminations; and the ongoing development of a work environment built on the premise of gender and diversity equity. The Policy applies to all employees and anyone conducting work on behalf of The Journey Institute.
